Balaji Palanisamy’s research spans blockchains, data privacy and security, and scalable resource management for cloud and edge computing — including a Distinguished Paper Award at ACM CCS 2023 for showing how hard it is to take over a DPoS blockchain’s coin-based voting governance. His group is extending that lens to how swarms of agents fail collectively.
